The next Clan MacAulay International Gathering will be held in
Carnlough, County Antrim, Northern Ireland from Thursday evening the 4th August to Sunday morning the 7th August 2011. We have already booked the Londonderry Arms Hotel which is in Carnlough, a short distance north of Larne.
This will be a very special Clan Gathering, not least because it will be the first Clan MacAulay International Gathering outside of Scotland and the first opportunity to meet with many of our clansfolk who live in Northern Ireland.
Our host in Northern Ireland, Laurence McAuley has negotiated an excellent deal with the hotel which I am sure will be attractive to all MacAulays. The rate available is for 3 nights B&B + 2 Dinner at £195.00 per double room. [£15.00 supplement for a single room] Banquet meal at £30.00 per person to include 2 glasses of wine.
Apart from our usual Clan Gathering events you will be able to visit historical sites of interest to all MacAulays as well as exploring the breathtaking Antrim Coast. Not to mention Rathlin Island,the Glens of Antrim and the spectacular Giant’s Causeway.
