Clan Chief Announces New Chieftain

Hector MacAulay Clan Association Chief has announced the appointment of Lord MacAulay of Bragar as Chieftain of the Lewis branch of Clan MacAulay.
Lord MacAulay is an active member of the clan and has served on the executive committee over the past six years.
He is a well known and respected advocate and was elevated to the House of Lords in 1989. He is a leading spokesperson in the Lords on Scottish judicial affairs and has campaigned for fairness and justice throughout his legal career.
Clan Chief Hector MacAulay said “ We are fortunate to have people of the calibre of Lord MacAulay of Bragar supporting the modern development of the clan and I know he will be an outstanding Chieftain of the Lewis Branch of Clan MacAulay.”
